#BBNaija one of Nigeria’s biggest labour employers – were the shocking revelation of CEO Diamondz Afrrica as he lashes out at Negative criticism of the show.
Originally known by the namw Derick Chimebere, The CEO of Diamondz Africa voiced his opinion the role of entertainment in Nigeria’s economy.
Using the Big Brother Naija Reality Tv show as a case scenario, he pointed to the fact a whole lot of young adults get employed direct or indirectly every year during the reality TV show.
In his words, “You all must agree with me that Big Brother Naija is one of Nigeria’s biggest youth employer of labour,”
“Every season, at least 20 or 22 housemates get into the house and their lives change for the better either they win or not. For those outside the house, they build their social
media handles on the platform of BBN and from there they begin to grow organically getting millions of followers and adverts start coming in.”
“I think we should reduce the negative criticism about the show and embrace the numbers of people it has taken out of poverty” he added.
